Relais & Chateaux Castello di Guarene

One of the amazing treasures of the region. It’s a castle converted partially into a hotel. Perched on a hill top and looks around all the directions. Has fabulous views and amnesties of a five star hotel. The service is exquisite. Each of the person has an unique personality which add tremendously to an unique experience. I am not sure which part was a better experience. The hotel or the staff. Matteo was incredible. He educated us on the area and the wines that we were drinking. The bar staff was great and very knowledgeable also about the wines. We loved the fact that we could order amazing wines by the glass at lunch time... before we went to taste but still return to the hotel for dinner and still be presented with an amazing wine list by the bottle. I am embarrassed that I don't remember the lady's name who served us lunch on the first day and greeted us warmly every morning for breakfast but we loved her too! The whole team was great. Our room was amazing. We were supposed to be in Italy for 1 week but work called us back after 3 nights and thanks to your hotel and the team there, we did not feel cheated out of our full stay in Italy. We came home rested and relaxed as if we were gone for the full week.
